Walnuts: are also an excellent source of tryptophan - an amino acid that helps you get more rest and
fall asleep faster.

Almonds are rich in magnesium, an essential mineral for a quality night of sleep.

Cheese and crackers:  calcium in cheese, milk, and yogurt helps the brain use tryptophan to produce melatonin which makes your body sleepy.

Lettuce: contains lactucarium, which has sedative properties and helps you fall asleep.

Tuna, flounder, and salmon: are rich in the vitamin B6 that the body requires to produce melatonin and serotonin which cause drowsiness.

Cherry juice: drinking a  glass of cherry juice will make you fall asleep faster, especially sour cherries, which will increase the natural melatonin level thereby making it easy for you to go to sleep.

Chamomile tea: my go-to choice, chamomile tea helps increase glycine levels, relaxes the nervous system and muscles, and makes it easier to fall asleep.

Lemon tea: An Australian research discovered that drinking a cup of lemon tea about an hour before bed helps us sleep better.

Honey: A spoonful of honey before bedtime or mixed with chamomile tea can help you sleep better.
